Baidyanath Ashokamrita is an ayurvedic formulation to maintain healthy menstrual cycle. Ashoka (Saracaasoca) the key ingredient of Ashokamrita contains phytoesytrogen, thus maintains hormonal level naturally. Ashoka along with all astringent herbs has an efficacy to relieve the problems of Menorrhagia, Metrorrhagia and Dysmenorrhea. Ashokamrita is an Ashokarishta Special formulation developed by Baidyanath having more potent additional valuable herbs like Nagkeshar with astringent property and Padmakashtha helps in management of irregular menses.

Ashokamrita not only corrects the menstrual problem but also acts as a tonic.

KEY INGREDIENTS

• Ashok chhal (Saracaasoca): It gives the desire effect in regulating estrogen level and to repair endometrium. Phytoestrogen present in Saracaasoca helps to maintain the hormonal balance in a natural way.
• Nagkeshar (Mesuaferrea): It has astringent properties. It balances vata, pitta and kaphadoshas.
• Padmakashtha (Prunuscerasoides):Padmakashtha helps in the management of irregular menses due to its Pitta and Kapha balancing properties.

• DOSAGE

  3 to 6 tsp. with equal quantity of water after meal twice daily or as advised by the physician. Start the product from fifth day of menstrual cycle.

  For better result, take it for 3 months (3 menstrual cycles).

Ashokarishta, also called Asokaristam, is a well-known Ayurvedic preparation. It is often used for the treatment of various women’s health-related problems. It helps in the management of heavy menstrual bleeding called menorrhagia. It also helps in treating irregular, delayed or painful periods. It is also useful in managing bleeding piles and nose bleeds.

It contains a mix of ingredients that go through fermentation. The fermentation process helps this ayurvedic tonic gain some astringent properties. This property helps in controlling excessive menstrual bleeding, bleeding hemorrhoids, and bleeding ulcers.
According to Ayurveda, mensuration-related problems are generally caused due to aggravation. Ashokarishta due to its Vata-balancing property helps to provide relief from menstruation-related disorders. It also has Kashaya (astringent) and Sita (cold) properties which help to control bleeding[2][3]. Its Sita property even helps in treating piles. It provides a considerable reduction in burning sensation and discomfort in piles.

Baidyanath Ashokarishta Syrup contains 16 herbal ingredients including ashoka stem bark, dhataki, ajaji, mustaka, sunthi, darvi, and utpala, along with jaggery and self-generated alcohol between 5 and 10 percent.

Direction for use:
Consume 15 to 30 milliliters of the syrup with the same volume of water two times everyday after food.
